Finding Insoles for Men's Size 14 and Up: What Is Actually in Stock

Product facts verified on Amazon · 2026-07-16

If you wear a men's size 14 or larger, you know the routine. You find an insole that looks right, open the size selector, and it stops at 13. The frustrating part is that the bigger sizes often exist. They are just made in smaller batches, listed separately, and sometimes hidden where the product page barely shows them at all.

So we checked. On July 16, 2026 we went through our catalog and verified which insoles were actually in stock in men's 14, 15, 16, and up, with the exact size labels each seller uses. Here is what we found.

Why the size run usually stops at 13

Shoe sizes follow a bell curve, and size 14 and up sits out on the tail. Brands respond the way you would expect: they produce fewer units in big sizes, restock them less often, and frequently list them as separate child listings on Amazon rather than as options in the main dropdown. When one sells out, it can disappear from the page entirely instead of showing as unavailable, which makes it look like the brand never made your size in the first place. That is why a verified in-stock list matters more at this end of the size chart than anywhere else.

Full-length insoles that reach 16 and beyond

The PowerStep Pinnacle has one of the friendliest big-size runs we have seen: "Men's 12-13", "Men's 14-15", and an open-ended "Men's 16+". That open end matters if you wear a 17 or an 18, because most competitors cap the range with a hard number. Its sibling, the PowerStep Pinnacle Maxx, carries the same two big options, "Men's 14-15" and "Men's 16+".

Samurai's insoles run big too. The Samurai Insoles Original goes to a size labeled "M16-16.5 or W18-18.5", and the Samurai Sumos reaches "Mens 16 - 16 1/2". The WalkHero tops out at that same "Mens 16 - 16 1/2" mark.

Big sizes for dress shoes and tight fits

A full-length insole can crowd a dress shoe, since there is little spare volume up front to begin with. Three-quarter and thin designs work around that: a 3/4 insole ends behind the ball of your foot, so it leaves the toe box alone, and an ultra-thin full-length design takes up as little room as possible from heel to toe.

In big sizes, the Pedag Holiday 3/4 runs to "US M 15 / EU 48", and its sibling the Pedag Viva Mini reaches "Men US 15/ EU 48" as well. For a thin full-length option, the Emsold Ultra Thin goes to "50 US Men's 15 - 16", where the 50 is the European size.

Work boots and heavier builds

For work boots, the Timberland PRO insole on our catalog comes in an "XX-Large/14-15" size. And if you carry more weight, the VALSOLE Heavy Duty, marketed for wearers 220 lbs and up, runs to "MEN 15-15 1/2 | WOMEN 17-17 1/2" at a listed 327 mm length. VALSOLE prints millimeter lengths right on its size labels, which we like at this end of the chart: trace your foot, measure heel to longest toe in millimeters, and you can check the label against a real number instead of trusting a US-size conversion.

The hidden-size trick every big-footed shopper should know

Amazon often keeps low-volume size variants out of the main buy box. On many listings, the big sizes only appear after you click "See options with no featured offers", a small link most shoppers never notice. We ran into this on the PowerStep ProTech Low, where the "M 14-15 Inserts" variant was a separate child listing tucked behind that expander. If a product page seems to stop at 13, click through before you conclude your size does not exist.

Two more habits worth keeping. First, read size labels character by character, because sellers write them inconsistently, and a label like "M16-16.5 or W18-18.5" covers both men's and women's sizing on one line. Second, sizes at this end of the run sell out and come back without warning, so always confirm the size, current price, and availability on the Amazon listing before you buy. Our stock check was accurate on July 16, 2026, and things move.

Takeaway

Wearing a 14, 15, or 16 narrows your options, but it does not eliminate them: every insole above was in stock in a big size when we checked. If you would rather not sift through the list yourself, try our two-minute questionnaire and we will point you to the catalog entries that fit your size, your shoes, and how you plan to use them.
